Kaipolar Diaries

My name is Kaishon Holloway and I am a Gay, Black man from Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA of African American descent living in Miami Beach, Florida. My life has been a glamorous, amorous improv show full of hi-jinx, hilarity, and a dash of tragedy on my way to total world domination and complete and utter fabulosity. I finally feel empowered to come out of the shame and shadow of my Bipolar Type I diagnosis. In this limited blog series aptly named Kaipolar Diaries, I will share my experience living with Bipolar Disorder and how I’ve been able to reclaim stability in my life after many lows along the way.

I will touch upon a later-in-life diagnosis at the age of 27 that came a few months after my mother’s untimely death and how it’s impacted all areas of my life. In this series, I will give insight into the raw experiences of someone living with Bipolar Disorder Type I as well as provide resources that have helped enhance my quality of life in the areas of health, wealth, love, and self-expression. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the glow! :(:
